Ionic Liquids

Ionic Liquids are entirely composed of ions, and now they mostly refer to molten salts that exist in a liquid state at temperatures below 100°C.

Ionic liquids have the following characteristics: low vapor pressure, non-flammability, good stability, high heat capacity, excellent conductivity, "designability", and special solubility for many inorganic salts and organic substances.

Currently, ionic liquids have rapidly expanded from the fields of green chemistry and catalysis to functional materials, photothermal & optoelectronic materials, life sciences, etc., and have greatly influenced the development of these fields.

The professional ionic liquid team of CHEMFISH is engaged in the synthesis, performance research, and application research of ionic liquids, and provides technical support services related to ionic liquids. Classified by cations, conventional ionic liquids include six major categories: imidazolium, pyridinium, quaternary ammonium, quaternary phosphonium, pyrrolidinium, and piperidinium. Functionalized ionic liquids include ten major categories: hydroxyl, carboxyl, ether, ester, amino, sulfonic acid, alkenyl, benzyl, nitrile, and guanidine.

CHEMFISH also acts as an agent for ionic liquids of GS Alliance Co., Ltd. ( Fuji Pigment Co., Ltd. Group )
